Meet gentle giant Regis, a male Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix rescued in a field in Georgia with his brothers!  Regis was estimated to be 4 months old at the time of intake in early April 2020 and  will likely top out at 80+ pounds full grown.  Now in a loving foster home with dogs, kids and cats, Regis is quickly learning that some humans are pretty cool to be around - especially when they have food!  Although shy at first, in just a matter of days, he was following his foster mom everywhere and melting into hands big and small for petting, scratching, cuddles and kisses.  He's looking for a home with a yard in a quiet suburb, with an experienced, patient owner and a confident resident dog to help him continue to build confidence and to help him learn that the world isn't such a scary place. He's fairly mellow for a young dog. He loves toys (he collects them in a pile), is food-motivated, crate trained, sleeps through the night and is doing beautifully with potty training.  He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
