Anabelle is a female Labrador Retriever mix rescued in North Carolina.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Anabelle is 3 years old at the time of intake in April 2020.  Anabelle is good with people and other dogs.  This poor, sweet, beautiful girl was found in a rural area in North Carolina where she was dumped in the middle of nowhere and left to die.  Both of her front legs were broken at some point, she has an old break to her hind leg, her teeth are filed down, she is covered in old scars and she appears to have been used for breeding.  Anabelle is at our vet partner and will receive all the medical care she requires, including several surgeries.  We don't have any control over the "person" that did this to Anabelle, but we can make sure that the rest of Anabelle's life is as terrific and happy as her past was horrific and that she will live a quality life that far exceeds the life being led by her torturer.
