Waylon is a male Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Texas.  Our veterinary partners estimate that Waylon is 10 months old at the time of intake in May 2020.  Waylon is good with people of all ages, kids (even littles) and other dogs.  Poor Waylon was picked up by Animal Control after he was hit by a car.  The kill shelter to where Waylon was taken asked Rescue Dogs Rock NYC if we would take Waylon into rescue because he needed immediate medical attention which was not available to him at the shelter.  Of course, we said yes and immediately sent Waylon to our veterinary partner for treatment of a broken jaw.  Waylon has been put back together and he is looking for his forever family! Waylon is housetrained and loves to play with his human and doggy foster family members.  He would be great with another dog, or an active family who will walk, run and play with him.  Waylon is just a happy pup who deserves the best home, and one that won't mind a bit of drool and after meal clean ups due to his jaw injury.   If you would like Waylon to join  your family, please apply online to adopt Waylon at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
