Zach is a male Pug mix rescued in Texas with some special needs.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Zach is 2 months old at the time of intake in May 2020.   This poor little guy is the victim of a backyard breeder who simply tossed him in the trash after he was deemed to be defective merchandise.   Zach was born with partial cerebellar hypoplasia which causes him to be off balance. He bumps into things, but he doesn't really care!  Zach requires a small yard so he doesn't run to the point of exhaustion and would do best in a quiet household with a playful, tolerant doggy sibling and no young children.  Training Zach may be a challenge, as he may stick with some of his puppy tendencies forever.   He will need a patient and loving family to help him live his life with extra special care for the rest of his days.  Zach is a young pup who is good with people of all ages and other dogs.    He is a rock star to Rescue Dogs  Rock NYC, and we know that very special family is out there waiting to find him.  If you would like to adopt this very sweet boy, please apply online at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
