Wendi is a female Domestic Shorthair kitten rescued in South Carolina.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Wendi is 5 weeks old at the time of intake in mid June 2020.  Wendi is good with people of all ages and other cats.  No matter how many animals Rescue Dogs Rock NYC rescues, it still disturbs us when we see the evidence of how neglectful and abusive people can be to animals.  Poor Wendi and her two siblings were dumped outside a kill shelter in a box one evening after the shelter had closed.  One look at Wendi and you can see the terrible condition she is in with a multitude of infections going on.  It's a wonder she's alive.  The shelter pleaded with us to take these kittens in, and of course we said YES!  Wendi is now at our veterinary partner receiving lifesaving treatment.  Wendi will soon be healthy and looking forward to joining her forever home.  She is a gorgeous kitty who will bring an abundance of love to her forever family.
