Nixie is a female Chihuahua mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Nixie is 7-8 weeks old at the time of intake in mid June 2020.  Nixie is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Nixie and her siblings and Momma were abandoned in a remote part of Texas by a cruel individual who sentenced them to certain death.  But fortunately for Nixie and her family, a good Samaritan found them and asked Rescue Dogs Rock NYC if we would take this family in. Of course we said YES! So rather than die, Nixie will go on to a live a fantastic life.  And Nixie's best revenge is that her future is far brighter than that of her abuser.  Nixie is a bit timid at the moment but we believe she will leave that behind her as she realizes that the world can be a happy place.   Nixie is a sweet, beautiful pup who is looking forward to spending the rest of her life in a happy forever home surrounded by her forever family, lots of kisses and soft beds.  If Nixie will complete your family, please apply online to adopt Nixie at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
