Edie is a female Heeler mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partners estimate that Edie is a year old at the time of intake in June 2020.  Edie is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Edie was surrendered to Animal Control with her six puppies and taken to a kill shelter. Unbelievably, the woman surrendering this family was overheard berating Edie for getting pregnant and having puppies. As if Edie had a choice living in a yard at the end of a heavy chain.  Needless to say, we are very happy to have rescued this family from that woman and the kill shelter.
