Sage is a neutered male Chihuahua mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sage is a year old at the time of intake in July 2020.  Sage is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  This poor tiny pup was wandering the streets of Texas with an embedded collar that was so severe that it almost decapitated him.  He existed in that condition on his own, alone and fending for himself with his size, his medical condition and the dangerous streets all working against him as each day his too tight collar dug more deeply into his skin.  But now that Sage is a Rescue Dogs Rock NYC pup, that's in the past and we will work hard to find Sage a forever home where he will forget that past.  Sage has been treated for his injuries and now we need to find his forever home.  Sage is still adjusting to his new life and as of now requires a home where he will be safely contained so he doesn't run off.  Sage is a whole lot of love wrapped up in a tiny package.  If you have enough room in your heart and home for all of that love, and you can give Sage a home that will help him forget his past, please apply online to adopt Sage at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
