Lentil is a male Hound/Labrador Retriever mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Lentil is 6 months old at the time of intake in July 2020.  Lentil is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  If we could see Hell, we imagine it would be the place where Lentil was existing at the time he was snatched back from the jaws of death.  Lentil was one of only two dogs rescued from this Hell; the other 9 were dead when rescuers got to them.  Lentil is now at our veterinary partner being treated, and he will go on to a live a happier life than he ever could have imagined.  Lentil's entire life thus far has consisted of nothing but torture and abuse, and he is understandably terrified of life.  Lentil needs a forever family who will be patient with Lentil and oh so slowly show Lentil how good life and people can be.  If you would like to show Lentil how happy life can be as a member of your family, please apply online to adopt Lentil at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
