Tabitha is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Louisiana. Our veterinary partner estimates that Tabitha is 2-3 years old at the time of intake in July 2020. Tabitha is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Tabitha is yet another victim of unspeakable cruelty as she lived her life with a hoarder stuffed in a crate under a porch covered by a blue tarp in 114 degree heat.  It's a wonder she survived.  Humanity failed Tabitha a second time after she was "rescued" from that property.  We don't know what happened to Tabitha next, but we were told that her legs did not look like they do now when she was initially "rescued."  Tabitha has now found her way to Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and she will never be failed again.  She is at our veterinary partner being assessed, and we will provide all the medical care Tabitha requires, including surgery(ies)  to repair her legs.  The world owes so much to this beautiful girl, and we will see to it that Tabitha gets the wonderful life she should have been living all along. Tabitha is a sweet girl who loves to be around people!
