Oliver is a male mixed breed rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Oliver is 5-6 months old at the time of intake in July 2020. Oliver is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Oliver is suffering from a severe skin infection that has caused his fur to fall out and his skin to swell, crack and bleed. It is incredibly painful, and believe it or not, rather than provide medical care, Oliver's owner dropped him off at the shelter to be euthanized because of his skin infection.  Well, he might have been dropped off to be euthanized, but instead, he's headed for happiness!  When Rescue Dogs Rock NYC received a plea from the shelter to help Oliver, we immediately said YES!, picked him up and brought him to our veterinary partner for urgent care.  All Oliver wants to do is crawl into his foster Mom's lap and cuddle.  He is the sweetest boy who doesn't deserve what he's going through.  Oliver will heal, and we need to find him a home where he can forget his past and focus on the happy future we promised him.  If you can give Oliver that home, please apply online to adopt Oliver at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
