Jack is a male Great Dane mix rescued from a shelter in South Carolina.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Jack is 3 years old at the time of intake in July 2020. Jack is good with people  and cats.  J ack has done well with other dogs. Because of his size, we do recommend a slower introduction if there are other dogs in the home.   Jack is a very affectionate, big boy who thinks he is a lap dog!  Jack doesn't appreciate his size, especially when he is playing, so a home with older children would be best for Jack.  Jack is working on basic commands and he already knows "sit" and "down."
