Sammy is a female Chihuahua/Pug mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sammy is a year old at the time of intake in July 2020.  Sammy is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Sammy had been abandoned at just 8 weeks old outside of a Sam's Club in Texas.  She was adopted and named Sammy.  Fast forward 10 months and Sammy's life has been one of being relegated to the backyard living a life in the 110 degree heat at the mercy of ticks and fleas.  That's no life for a dog, and once Sammy's owner realized that, she asked if we would take Sammy into our rescue and find her a better home.  Of course we said YES!  Sammy is a sweet, friendly, innocent pup who deserves to start a new life story this time in a happy, loving home where she will be welcomed as a member of her forever family.  If you would like to star in Sammy's life story, please apply online to adopt Sammy at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
