Ellie    is a   fe male Heeler mix rescued in Texas. Ellie was born on May 7, 2020.     Ellie    is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Ellie, her Momma and five siblings were brought to a kill shelter by Animal Control after they were kicked to the curb by their owner.  Knowing how dangerous a  shelter can be for a puppy, the shelter called Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and pleaded with us to take this family into rescue.  And of course we said YES!  Being kicked out of your home isn't usually a good thing, but it was in this case, because Ellie had no chance of having a happy life while in that home.  We will now see to it that this beautiful, playful, curious pup has the best life ever.  If you would like to be Ellie's forever person, please apply online to adopt Ellie at  www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
