Franny (SC) is a female (possible) Jack Russell mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Franny is 5 weeks old at the time of intake in August 2020.  Franny is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Franny is a perfect lap dog, low energy who loves to cuddle and sleep.  Franny was surrendered along with her siblings to a kill shelter by the person who was supposed to protect her. She was in a completely neglected condition suffering from a flea infestation that left her anemic, and she had parasites and worms which have all been treated.  She also had an infected wound on her paw.  We don't know how anyone could sit back and let a young puppy deteriorate to this condition, but we do know that this little puppy will go on to live a life that far surpasses the quality of life being led by the abusive individual who should have protected Franny.  If you can give Franny a forever home where she will know nothing but love, kisses, happiness and confidence, please apply online to adopt Franny (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
