Laurel (TX) is a female mixed breed dog. Our veterinary partner estimates that Laurel is 1-2 years old at the time of intake in August 2020. Laurel is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Another chip was taken out of our hearts when we saw Laurel struggling everyday to take care of her young puppies while living out on the dangerous streets, suffering from a painful, itchy skin condition and fighting to keep herself fed and hydrated so she could feed her puppies.  Because of the constant danger on the streets, Laurel was moving her pups to new areas in an effort to keep them safe. Fortunately, she moved them under a horse trailer, and someone saw them. And that someone stopped to help Laurel. And when that someone called three rescues in an effort to find safety for Laurel and her puppies, and those three rescues all said NO!, that someone kept calling. And when she called Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, we said YES! and Laurel and her puppies were safe and sound and received the medical care they so desperately required.  Fast forward, and Laurel's pups have all been adopted and now it's Laurel's turn to find happiness!
