Penny (AL) is a female Dachshund/Beagle mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Penny is 8 weeks old at the time of intake in late August 2020. Penny is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Penny was living a dangerous life on the streets with her siblings at just a few weeks old; it's a wonder she survived.  Penny was found by a good Samaritan who brought Penny home and then set out to find a rescue who would take this family in.  And when the good Samaritan called Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and asked if we would take Penny and her siblings into our rescue, we of course said YES!  We promised Penny that her life has gone from marginal to marvelous, but we need to get Penny into her forever home so that the marvelous part can start.  If you can be Penny's happy ever after, please apply online to adopt Penny (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
