Abby (NY) is a female Yorkshire Terrier mix rescued in New York. Our veterinary partner estimates that Abby is 6 years old at the time of intake in September 2020.  Sweet Abby is approximately 15 pounds of character. Found abandoned on a beach in Brooklyn, she is learning to live life to the fullest. Abby loves toys, loves her people a LOT and likes to be in the thick of the action. Whilst Abby would be perfectly ok being your one and only, she would also be ok with a playful dog of any size with slow introductions. We are working on her resource guarding, separation issues and her potty training; when let out on a schedule she is fine. Abby is newly diabetic and requires insulin 2 x a day and prescription food, but takes her shots like a champ.
