Lacie (GA) is a female Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Lacie is 2 years old at the time of intake in September 2020.  Lacie is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Lacie is super skinny, and although she is 23 lbs. at the time of intake, her normal weight should be at least 35-40 lbs.  This beautiful girl found herself homeless and stuck in a kill shelter. She is so sweet and so friendly that she quickly became a staff favorite at the shelter and spent much of her time in the front office greeting the public!  Lacie does like to talk quite a bit, so she would not do well in apartment living.  She is okay with leash walking.  When we heard about Lacie, we immediately agreed to bring her into our rescue so that Lacie could get on with her life and head for happiness.  If you would like Lacie to head to your home to live her happy life with your family, please apply online to adopt Lacie (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
