Iris (SC) is a female Viszla mix rescued in South Carolina.  Iris is good with people of all ages.  This poor girl was attacked by other dogs and just ripped apart, so she is understandably dog selective. She seems to be okay with smaller dogs, but not comfortable with some bigger dogs.  Iris was found in someone's yard suffering from her many wounds.  As soon as we received the plea to help Iris, we immediately rushed her to our veterinary partner for lifesaving treatment.  Iris expects nothing from people as that is what she has gotten so far in her life.  But that's all in the rearview mirror now, and Iris is only looking forward.  We would like to have Iris' happy ever after home waiting for her when she's ready.  If you would like Iris to join your family and you can show her how happy life can be, please apply online to adopt Iris (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
