Jenna (AL) is a female Labrador Retriever/Border Collie or possibly a Flat Coat Retriever/Border Collie mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Jenna is 1.5 years old at the time of intake in mid-September 2020.  Jenna found herself dumped at a kill shelter with her young puppies. When the shelter called Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and asked if we would take Jenna and her pups into rescue, we of course said YES!  Despite the rough start she had, Jenna holds no grudges--she is the total package: stunning, smart and sweet! She loves to run, play and explore outside with her canine foster brother. When she is all tired out, she will cuddle up beside you for some ear rubs and a nap and has been known to gaze adoringly into your eyes. Have I mentioned she is super smart?! Jenna learns very quickly and would be perfect for agility training or a family who is active. She is people and dog friendly and showed curiosity but no aggression towards cats. Jenna is house trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night.
