Sandy Lou (TX) is a female Shih Tzu mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sandy Lou is 3 years old at the time of intake. Sandy Lou is good with people of all ages and other dogs. This sweet girl was abandoned in the parking lot of an apartment complex. She is in a severely neglected condition and her leg is not only broken, but the bone is exposed.  As soon as Rescue Dogs Rock NYC was altered to Sandy Lou's plight, we immediately agreed to take Sandy Lou into our rescue and rushed her off to our veterinary partner for evaluation and treatment.  We know there is a beautiful pup underneath all of the matted fur, and Sandy Lou will soon take a trip to the spa!
