Candie (GA) is a female Terrier/Basset Hound mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Candie is a year old at the time of intake in November 2020.  Candie is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  This girl is--you guessed it--as sweet as her namesake! We found Candie in a kill shelter desperately trying to protect her 8 puppies from life in a shelter, and we immediately scooped them all up and brought them to safety.  Candie's pups will soon be ready to go to forever homes of their own, and then it will be Candie's turn for happiness.  Candie is a bit timid and needs to build some confidence as she settles in to her forever home.  She is  very sweet, lowkey and good on a leash. Candie is a staff favorite at the vet's office.
