Jensen (SC) is a male Labrador Retriever/Hound mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Jensen is 4 months old at the time of rescue in November 2020.  Jensen is good with people of all ages, other dogs and even cats.  This poor boy was found in horrific condition in a kill shelter.  As soon as we received a plea to rescue Jensen, we immediately said YES! and rushed him off to our veterinary partner.  Jensen was suffering from a skin infection, eye infections and he was infested with fleas.  Jensen has been treated and he is recovering nicely from the skin condition but will require medicated baths for a while. Jensen is  super sweet, he loves to give hugs, and he loves his toys.  He would be suitable for apartment living.  Jensen is currently being fostered with six other dogs of all ages, and he loves all of them!   He has learned to sit for treats and attention.  Jensen does well in his crate for naps and bedtime.   Jensen is just a puppy and doesn't deserve the life he has thus far been given.  If you can help us change that for Jensen and give him a life filled with love and happiness with your family, please apply online to adopt Jensen (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
