Bailey (NC) is a spayed female Chihuahua mix rescued in North Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bailey is 6 years old at the time of intake. Bailey is good with adults, older children and other dogs.  This pretty little girl was loved and had a good life until one day her world was turned upside down when her person passed away and Bailey was suddenly homeless.  We promised Bailey that we would find her a new forever home and her life can continue as it was.  Bailey takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, and she has never been around small children. For that reason we think she would do best in a patient home with older children.  Bailey sleeps in her open door crate all night and likes to be outside. She is housetrained.  Bailey is a bit of an old soul who loves being with her person.
