Foxy (GA) is a 4-year-old, 24 lb mixed breed (maybe part French Bulldog/Beagle/Chihuahua) who comes to rescue from a Georgia shelter. The male occupant of her previous home is in jail and previously shot two other dogs. Given her tumultuous past, it takes a little time for Foxy to learn to trust. She may flinch at unsolicited contact so she needs a patient owner who allows her to warm up at her own pace. Once she trusts, she is extremely loving. She will follow you everywhere, want belly rubs and kisses and to sit in your lap! Foxy isn't a big fan of other dogs, and she would do best in a calm home in a quiet suburb with no resident dogs and no children. She is good with cats, she loves car rides and her walks.
