Bear (TX) is a male Shepherd mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bear is 5 years old at the time of intake in November 2020. Bear is good with people of all ages and with larger, low-energy dogs.  Bear was picked up by Animal Control and brought to a kill shelter. It's obvious that Bear's life was one of neglect, abuse and cruelty. He was emaciated, weak and very depressed. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped in to get him nursed back to health and he has absolutely thrived in his foster home.    His favorite things in the world are chasing balls and being with his people. When he's excited, he gallops about and his tail swoops around in big circles!
