Sweet, beautiful Mars is the ultimate survivor.  Little more than a kitten herself, hungry and alone on the streets in the Bronx, she tried desperately to keep her family of 8 kittens safe and fed. Sadly, almost all the kittens were killed by raccoons before Rescue Dogs Rock was alerted and scooped Mars and her surviving kittens to safety.  Now 16-18 months old and having put her terrible ordeal behind her, she has blossomed into a regal beauty whose gorgeous amber eyes match the patches of orange tabby on her stunning white coat.  Given her solitary and uncertain early life, Mars is a quiet cat who is content to hang out near you but not quite on your lap. She'll play with you if you have a dangling toy and she will happily entertain herself with her toys. She also has an adorable chirp when she wants something -  especially if you have a bag of treats!  If you can give Mars the adoptive home she deserves, where she will be loved unconditionally, spoiled and cherished for life, apply to adopt her at  https://rescuedogsrocknyc.org/cat-or-kitten-application/
