Maggie Mae (SC) is a female Shepherd/Beagle mix estimated to be 1.5 years old in December 2020 when she was rescued in South Carolina. While Maggie Mae is good with people, she can be a little timid, so older, respectful kids are the best fit. She is good with other dogs her size or larger. True to her breed, she has a high prey-drive, so she needs an experienced owner who can manage her if she encounters small dogs and other small animals. A calm home in a quiet location will suit Maggie best. She is 45-50 pounds of energy, and she is a champion 'high-jumper', so a yard that has a 6-foot fence or higher is recommended.
