Zoey (TX) is a female Terrier mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Zoey is 2 years old at the time of intake in December 2020. Zoey is good with people and other dogs.  This poor, sweet pup was just a breeding machine for a backyard breeder, and when Zoey suffered a medical emergency during labor, her owner surrendered her rather than pay for her medical care.  That's where Rescue Dogs Rock NYC came in and saved Zoey's life.  She had a dead puppy stuck in her birth canal for a while and she could have died of sepsis.  We can't change Zoey's past, but we can certainly change her future.  That part of Zoey's life is over, and the rest of her life will be fantastic.  If you can give Zoey that loving home that will erase her memories and start over with happy ones, please apply online to adopt Zoey (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
