Dakota (TX) is a male Husky mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Dakota is 2 years old at the time of intake in January 2021.  Dakota is good with people and other dogs.  This gorgeous boy was leading a desolate life at the end of a chain in a backyard.  He had food only sporadically and the water that was available to him to drink was filthy.  He had no shelter from the elements, no contact with humans, no kind words, no gentle touches.  But that was then, and this is now, and Dakota's life now is a life free of neglect and abuse, receiving the medical care he required, and days filled with kisses, loving words and soft touches.  And Dakota soaks it all up!  Dakota is going to make his forever family very happy . . . is that your family?  If so, please apply online to adopt Dakota (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
