Bogie (GA) is a 35-40 pound neutered male Shepherd/Hound mix rescued in Georgia from a hoarding situation, and estimated to be 2 years old in October 2021. Bogie is a sweet, gentle boy, who lived outdoors with many other dogs and little human interaction. He has come a long way already.   This sweet, gentle soul is a very smart young man, always aiming to make you happy and be a good boy. Based on past abuse, it will take Bogie some time to warm up but once he does, this boy will transform right before your eyes! He will become the ultimate ‘velcro dog’ who won’t leave your side and can’t get close enough to you as you hang out on the couch (even if he is literally ON YOU)! Bogie is such a happy boy who is grateful for a full belly, a warm bed, and lots of loving! He acts like every day is the best day of his life. Bogie is great with other dogs, but no cats please! RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.   Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here.
