Schmidt (SC) is a male Labrador Retriever mix rescued in South Carolina in February 2020, when he was estimated to be a year old. This dark and handsome boy has gorgeous, thick, dark brown fur. He is happy, very active, playful, sweet and snuggly and he's looking for his forever family. Schmidt loves playing outside, running with his doggy friends, he's good on a leash and he is very trainable.  His foster family is training him to tame his puppy exuberance and not jump on people in his excitement to see them. He needs a forever home with a fenced yard and a playful companion dog, as well as an active family to help him burn off his youthful energy.
