Jack (TX) is a male Shepherd/Lab mix rescued in Texas.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Jack is a year old at the time of intake in April 2021.   Jack is a handsome 48 lb pup looking for a loving home! He loves people, older kids over 10 years old and other dogs with very slow introductions. He just needs to sniff and get used to new things. Jack is extremely gentle--you can take food, snacks or toys out of his mouth with absolutely no reaction. He is such a good dog! Jack is potty trained, crate trained and micro chipped. He loves to snuggle and follow you all over. Jack LOVES to play fetch, especially Frisbee. He can jump so high! He knows some commands and since he is food/snack motivated, Jack is eager to learn. He walks nicely on his leash, loves to go in the car, sits in his booster seat nicely.  Jack is a timid boy and a little more reserved but he loves to play with his foster doggy siblings as well as lots of snuggle time with his foster Mom and Dad. Jack would do best in a fenced in yard so he can run around, but the fence must be at least 6' high as Jack can jump!  Jack is an adorable love bug.    If you are interested in adopting Jack, please apply online to adopt Jack (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
