Liz (AL) is a female Black Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Alabama and estimated to be 3 years old at intake in April 2021. It was a race against time to get very pregnant Liz out of the kill shelter before she gave birth. Now her puppies have homes, it's Liz's time to be loved and live her very best life. And she's pretty much the perfect dog! Liz is great with people, including children, she's super chill, low-to-medium energy and very quiet (no barking; good girl, Liz!). She loves head and belly rubs, mostly ignores other dogs and cats, she has no prey drive and while she is food-motivated, she has no resource guarding!  She is great in the car, loves her walks, is good on leash and while she can live in an urban environment, all she asks is some grass for pottying. If you can give this gem of a pup the happy ever after she so deserves as a member of your family, please apply online for Liz (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
