Greer (AL) is a spayed female Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Greer is 9 weeks old at the time of intake in April 2021. Greer is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  We can't imagine the horrific life this young pup has experienced thus far. She was found lying on the street by a good samaritan with a gaping wound in her shoulder area.  The wound was severely infected and Greer wasn't even able to stand.  The good samaritan brought Greer to a shelter, and the shelter reached out to Rescue Dogs Rock NYC for help as they were unable to provide Greer with the veterinary care she so desperately required to save her life.  Of course we said YES! and now Greer is all fixed up and ready to move on to the better life we promised her.  Greer is housetrained, she loves playing with other dogs and just loves everyone! She has been non-destructive in her foster home when left alone with other pups.  If you can show Greer what life is supposed to be like by making Greer part of your happy, loving family, please apply online to adopt Greer (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
