Patch (GA) is a neutered male boxer mix estimated by our veterinary partner to be 3 years old at intake in April 2021. Poor Patch has been through so much, After his original owner was deported, Patch was abandoned in the home until - unwanted and 30 pounds underweight - he was taken by the owner's family to a vet to be euthanized. The vet saw a bright and happy dog, despite his neglect, and found him rescue instead.  He is now in a great foster home, where he lives with two children and is learning what it is like to be truly loved!  Patch needs a single-family home in a quiet suburb; he is selective about his doggy friends, so slow introductions and extra care with other dogs is a must.  He is always happy to see people and loves all people.  He is very respectful and easy to train.! In his excitement he pulls on leash, so he is learning leash manners, but he settles well after a nice walk and some exercise.  Patch loves his Kong and his blanket.
