Uma (AL) is a female English Coonhound rescued from a Georgia kill shelter, having been surrendered after her brother was shot. She is estimated to be 6 months old in September 2021. Uma is sweet and very mellow, for a puppy. She loves adults and children alike, as well as other dogs, and she has been spayed and microchipped. Uma is also up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate). Uma is a big girl - already 68 pounds at 6 months! She is very smart and, typical for a Coonhound, she has a voice and she isn't afraid to use it! She would love a yard in her forever home, to run around and play in. She loves to lay in the grass. And she loves her bones and squeak toys! Uma has a lot of love to share. If you would like this sweet, adorable mush of a pup to join your family, please apply online to adopt Uma (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
