Sammy (NY) is a neutered male Domestic Short Hair rescued in New York. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sammy was born on or about April 17, 2021. Sammy gets along perfectly with the many other cats and dogs in his foster home.  Sammy didn't have a very good start to his life as he was on his own on the streets of New York City at just a few weeks of age.  So as soon we heard about Sammy's plight, we brought him into our rescue. Sammy is the  the Black Panther of kitties, and pictures don't do justice for him! He has the shiniest black coat, gorgeous eyes and biggest double paws you can imagine! Because of Sammy's background, he remains shy and timid, although he is making slow progress in his foster home. He loves food and although he likes to be in the same room with his foster Mom and Dad, he does not want to be touched at this time. He will cautiously approach for treats and his food.
