Mara (AL) is a spayed female Labrador Retriever blend who is approximately 4 months old as of end of August 2021. She has been spayed, is microchipped, up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate) and is great with people of all ages, including kids, and with other dogs and even cats.  Mara is housetrained and crate trained. She is a playful, active little girl who wants someone to snuggle and play with her.  Mara loves: Human contact, toys and stuffies, elk bones, walks (she's working on leash training), cats, and a good bed (human or dog--doesn't matter!).  Mara does not love: Crates, sharing her treats (she's working on that too), vacuum cleaners, and hair dryers.  She thinks squirrels are to chase, but not to harm.  She is potty trained. Mara would do well with a small yard but walks would also be sufficient for exercise.  If you are fun loving, and like to do things with your best 4 legged furry friend, Mara is the girl for you. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
