Jemma (AL) is a spayed female English Bulldog/Catahoula Leopard dog mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Jemma is 2.5 years old at the time of intake in June 2021. Jemma is great with people, kids and other dogs. We found this beautiful girl all beaten up in a kill shelter in Alabama. We immediately pulled her out and sent her to our veterinary partner for assessment and all the medical care she requires. She has sustained trauma to her teeth and further assessment is being done to determine if Jemma has suffered any other injuries. We don't know what happened to Jemma, but we do know that the worst is behind Jemma now and the rest of her life will be fantastic! Jemma is a calm, sweet, loving girl who walks well on a leash. She will do well with a lower key, settled family. In other words, Jemma is a couch potato! If you have a spot on your couch for Jemma for the rest of her life, please apply online to adopt Jemma (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
