Rachel (NC) is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in North Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Rachel is 6 months old at the time of intake in July 2021. Rachel is good with people, other dogs and even cats. At time of placement, Rachel will be altered, if medically appropriate, and current on basic vaccinations appropriate for her age. We discovered Rachel in a kill shelter suffering from a painful skin infection that caused her fur to fall out and her skin to become itchy, red and raw.  As soon as we found this super sweet pup, we pulled her out and got her to our veterinary partner for much needed medical attention.  Rachel loves to play and she is friendly with everyone.  She is a happy, exuberant pup who has perfected the butt wag.  Rachel can be talkative while in her  kennel but is otherwise a quiet girl.
