Liza (TX) is a Labrador Retriever mix rescued from a rural shelter in Texas.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Liza is 3 years old at the time of intake in July 2021.  We immediately transported Liza out of the shelter to a critical care hospital for lifesaving medical care. It was obvious from the condition she was in that Liza had endured severe neglect.  Liza deserves so much more and we vowed to turn things around for this precious girl. Liza is  house trained and crate trained,  she knows the sit command and is learning other commands quickly,  she walks nicely on leash (pulls a little but she's working on that),  she loves other dogs,  she gets little spurts of energy and does some zoomies around the kitchen and entertains herself with her toys. She LOVES toys!
