Nemo (SC) is a male Springer Spaniel mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Nemo is 7 weeks old at the time of intake in September 2021.  Nemo is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  We took Nemo into our rescue at just 5  weeks old when he was discarded by his owner. Nemo was born with a neurological deficit that affects his gait. Nemo has been receiving physical therapy and is doing so much better but only time will tell how much Nemo will improve. Nemo's head is a bit misshapen and it's suspected that he may have gotten stuck in the birth canal during birth. Nemo is the sweetest little boy and doesn't know that he's a bit different! If you are the special person who can give Nemo the happy life he deserves, please apply online to adopt Nemo (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.  RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
