Oreo (AL) is a male Great Pyrenees mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Oreo is 3 years old at the time of intake in October 2021.  Oreo was living in a packed home in a hoarding situation with an unstable owner who never, ever took Oreo outside.  OREO is a sweet, sweet boy. He loves people and his foster doggy sibling. Oreo needed to lose weight when he was rescued, and he has about 20 lbs to go. Oreo loves to be with his Person, so if he is going to be left for long periods, he needs another dog in the home. He is fine left alone as an only dog for short periods of time. Oreo loves going on walks, but he could use some leash training. Oreo's forever home will be in the suburbs or rural with a fenced in yard; no apartment or city living for Oreo! He is just learning about stairs.
