Captain Jack (TX) is a neutered male German Shepherd Dog mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Captain Jack is 10 months old at the time of intake in October 2021. Captain Jack is good with people and other dogs.  We found this very handsome boy when we were rescuing another dog on a property in Texas.  Captain Jack was living in a dark wooden box, and we couldn't leave him there. Fortunately, we were able to reason with the property owner, who finally relented and allowed us to rescue Captain Jack.  It's hard to believe that this sweet, happy, loving boy was forced to live like that, but that life is over and all there is in Captain Jack's future is love and happiness.  Captain Jack is a wesome with all different dog and people personalities.   He's doing great with his recall and basic commands, as well as potty and crate training.   If you would like Captain Jack to join your family, please apply online to adopt Captain Jack (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.    RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here.
