Ginny (AL) is a female Shih Tzu mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Ginny is 5 years old at the time of intake in October 2021. Ginny is good with people, small dogs and cats. Ginny would do best in a single dwelling home with a fence, and she needs a small dog sibling in her forever home. Ginny is a small girl, so older children are best. Ginny was living on the streets when she was picked up as a stray and taken to a kill shelter. We can't imagine how Ginny survived on the streets by herself, but we can imagine the fantastic life Ginny is going to have now that she's a Rescue Dogs Rock NYC pup! Ginny has a corneal ulcer that is being evaluated at our veterinary partner. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.
