Betsy (GA) is a female Labrador Retriever/ mix who was estimated to be 10 months old and 18 pounds on intake in November 2021. Betsy is good with people, other dogs, and even cats.  This super sweet pup is looking for her happy ever after, and she in turn will bring a happy ever after to her forever home!  Betsy is smart, sweet and a little goofy.  Her favorite activities are her humans, snacking, cuddles, toys, walks & endless love. She loves to be with her people, and is a major cuddler and kisser but on her own terms. Betsy is treat motivated, so she's a quick learner and already knows basic commands. This southern belle is not a fan of cold weather, so she will prefer a wardrobe of coats and sweaters! Betsy loves all adults, and with proper intoductions, she will be good with kids. Betsy is not affected by loud noises, so she will likely be a candidate for city life with time and patience. She will be okay as an only dog or with a doggy sibling. She has typical energy level of a younger dog/older pup, and would make a wonderful companion for most anyone.  Betsy is housetrained and c rate trained. If you would like Betsy to join your family, please apply online to adopt Betsy (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.  Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
