Baxter (TX) is a male mixed breed rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Baxter is 4 months old at the time of intake in November 2021. Baxter is good with people and other dogs and cats (he's more afraid of cats so leaves them alone).  In his very short life, Baxter has already seen the worst that life has to offer.  Baxter was hit by a car and left in the roadway to die.  Someone moved Baxter to the side of the road, but still left him to die a slow and painful death.  Finally, someone contacted Rescue Dogs Rock NYC to ask if we would save Baxter, and of course we said YES!  Baxter is now at our veterinary partner where he is receiving all treatment possible.  We would like to have Baxter's forever home waiting for him when he is all healed up.  Baxter is sweet and friendly and he will bring much love to his forever home.  If you can show Baxter a life that includes only the best life has to offer, please apply online to adopt Baxter (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
