Maggie (TX) is a female heeler/lab mix rescued from a shelter in S. Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Maggie is 3-4 years old at the time of intake in December 2021. She is good with both cats and dogs. Maggie has only known a life of suffering dumped at a kill shelter. Now in the northeast awaiting her forever family. How do you resist that face?? This little lady  will make an amazing addition to any family. She is kid, dog, cat and all humans friendly. She is very low maintenance, all she needs is to be fed and pet, petting higher on the priority list then food.  She is incredibly sweet and very loyal. She just wants to be around her humans. She is very playful and amuses herself when needed. Maggie is about as perfect as a dog gets so please consider her for adoption. If you can give Maggie the love she deserves, please apply online to adopt Maggie (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org .

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
